I spent 10 days in January at this beautiful house, and wish I could have stayed forever. If you want to truly feel Hawaii, and to get away for fun, rest, and relaxation in true Hawaiian style, this is the spot. Wow! Great two weeks with our entire extended family of nine. Perfect house. Perfect location. Walk to everything you need and only a short drive to the most exotic locations in the world. Extremely comfortable accommodations. Very clean. Everything we could have possibly needed for cooking and recreation. First of all, Marney is very accommodating and responds to all requests and questions timely. We were 2 couples and we stayed at Marney’s Hibiscus upstairs for about a week. It truly is paradise. Plenty of windows for sunlight and breezes. The wraparound porch is just perfect for morning coffee, dining or just having cocktails while looking out at the coconut, avocado and banana trees. What a fabulous place with VERY close proximity to beautiful Hanalei Bay and Hanalei town. This was a long-planned family vacation and we rented the entire property – upstairs main house, downstairs 2-bdrm suite, and downstairs studio. We spent seven nights at the house and had a simply amazing time. The house is lovely and spacious. We had all three suites for our group of 12 (which included three children) and felt that we had plenty of room the entire time. The ambience is relaxing and the house is well cared for and well stocked with everything you need for your vacation. And you can’t beat the location – just a block and a half to the beach and a few extra blocks to the shops and restaurants Hanalei.

My husband and I brought our 4 adult children and spouses, along with our 13year old, 4year old, and 10 month old grandsons. There are hardly words to express how perfect the home was for our family. Two weeks was not enough in this lovely place, oh, and the house was great, too! For a large family, ages 10 to 70, there was something for everyone. The house, island magic on stilts sits surrounded by a tropical paradise and beside a gurgling river. A wrap-around porch afforded all-day lounging and reading and for more active types, the proximity to beaches, shopping and hiking venues was perfect. We had the best time in Hanalei staying at this house. One block from the beach, couldn’t be better. Incredibly convenient, cozy and lush garden all around. Thank you Marney for eveything! We will return!
